MoonGear is a web based media company owned by William "Michael" Love specializing in professional dynamic web based solutions for small to medium businesses.

A dynamic web site is a web site that actually does something. It can take customer orders and process transactions. It offers its viewers content that is interactive and fresh such as shopping carts, automated record keeping and company news. It offers the business owner control of the customer experience by providing a direct line of communication between the business and the customer through surveys, product ratings and customer feedback.

A Brief History

Michael was building a personal web site. He wanted visitors to be able to search the web without having to leave his site. Popular search engines at the time were offering links to their search results, but, those links only displayed the search results on the other web site. Michael envisioned the search results displayed on his own site.

In 1997, Michael put his more than ten years of software engineering experience to work creating the solution. Soon, a dynamic and customizable application was up and running that displayed search results on his own web site. A short time thereafter the world noticed his application and inquired as to how he had accomplished this. Realizing there was a need for web based software, MoonGear was born. The application was soon used on hundreds of web sites around the world.

As a result of the design elements and services offered on MoonGear, it was featured on TechTV (now known as G4). Once the show aired, MoonGear saw a significant increase in inquiries for design and software development. People were starting to realize the advantages that functional web sites added to their brick and mortar stores.

Today, MoonGear has a vested interest in over 100 Internet properties. MoonGear provides programming, consulting and web design services around globe and continues to help business owners realize the vision that was the foundation of this company more than twelve years ago.
